06-August-2008 the work goes on.

Development is well underway for version 1.6 of MyGarage.  The biggest new feature so far is the ability to edit all the tasks costs on the pop-up task window, which should make data entry significantly quicker. Other new features will include changes to the fuel page to give filtering, and more graphs. Cars show the cost of fuel per mile, and you can compare the mpg of your entire fleet on 1 trend. Mileage trend has ability to show data as a table. Still more new features to add before version 1.6 is released in September.

Good news this week - I have my Herald back on the road !

18-July-2008 Version 1.5.1 released

I am pleased to announce the release of version 1.5.1 of "My Garage". Although this contains the same functionality as version 1.5, there has been lots of work "under the bonnet" to make the whole system run much smoother and faster, especially when switching between pages. The data update between pages has also been re-worked, as well as a number of other fixes.

02-July-2008 Working on the fleet

With the long summer evenings I have been working on my fleet. First there was the sticking windscreen wipers on the Ford Galaxy (A common problem). Since the Dolomite club spares day where I bought loads of cheap spares, I have changed a door hinge, and I have a pair of rear shocks, and exhaust to change next. Even my Herald has seen some spanner work as I replaced the horn insulator ring that was damaged 4 years ago, with the consequence of the horn sometimes sounding as you turn the wheel !

Of course I have also been working on "My Garage", and invested lots of research into system perfrormance. Consequently there will be a version 1.5.1 with the same functionality as 1.5, but running quicker. Hopefully this will be available mid July

18-June-2008 Version 1.5 Release

Version 1.5 of "My Garage" has been released. This version includes

• MPG Trend
• New "Time Line" to see when each car was purchased / sold in relation to each other
• Filters on Cars / Tasks / Contacts

01-May-2008 more development

I have started the development for version 1.5 of MyGarage, with an expected release date as the end of June 2008. So far I have completed a MPG trend so you can see how the mpg changes over time. Also working on filters for the contact and tasks, so you can for example filter the contact list to find all the contacts who have "worked" on a specific car.

17-April-2008 V1.4 Released

Version 1.4 of  "My Garage" is now available to download.

02-April-2008 V1.4 coming soon

Development of version 1.4 is nearing completion, with several fixes, and new features, including a help file, ability to set SORN, decide how many fill ups to base MPG on, printing of tasks and reminders, and price guide valuations now get a source, with the ability to set the captions for the values. This version should be released in the 2nd half of April, so watch this space.

12-March-2008 V1.3 Now Live

Version 1.3 now available for download ahead of schedule.

04-March-2008 V1.3 on the way

Development of version 1.3 is making good progress. This version contains a huge section on insurance, including the ability to add multi vehicle insurance policies. This version also includes some reports, including a mileage report and car history report. Version 1.3 is still on target to be release before the end of March, so watch this space.

21-February-2008 V1.2.1 now available

Version 1.2.1 is now available for download. This is mainly fixes and improvements with a couple of additional features (end date on tasks, and save picture to a file). Now I have concentrated on improvements, the next release will provide some new features. I have a long list of things to do. Hopefully next release end of March.

11-February-2008 Development goes on...

Development continues - fixing a few small issues, making some general improvements and adding new features. The main addition so far  is an end date on tasks. Hopefully the next version will be available at the end of Feb.

If you visited the Triumph show at Stonleigh on 10th Feb, then you may have seen my white Triumph Dolomite in the main hall !
