It has taken a while, but here it is. Version 2.0 of the software now available. The key changes are teminlogoy changes. Full customisation for any country through a "country file" (see downloads). New tax history section. Ability to enter costs in £sd for pre 1971 data. Big re-vamp of the insurance policy editing, with extra fields, including to attach scanned in policy documents. Doesn't time fly when you are busy. It is August already. My Herald went through the mot this year with no problems, so I rewarded it with a new set of boots, which I have been promising myself for the last 3 years. What a difference it makes to the road holding... but then it was on a set of old cross-ply tyres. i have put on radials now, and it feels much safer.

Version 2.0 of the software has been coming along. I am just finishing this off ready for an August release. All the tax history, and full country customisation is in there, plus loads of other things that have been requested.

Last year's news mentions the TSSC Stafford event. I had my car i nthe main display last time. This year I am planning to be there on the Sunday in the main hall demonstrating this software. If you are there then please say hello.

24-May-2010 Still working

I had hoped that by now I would be near completion of version 2.0 of My Garage Manager. The new version is well under way as most of the big stuff is done. My development list seems to grow as quickly as I knock items off. For any registered users that are interested, the latest version is available for trying out. just email me saying you want to try it and I will give further details on how to get it. Work will continue through the summer, although I have to leave time to do some work on the fleet !

22-January-2010 Lots going on

I continue to be busy with the development for version 2.0 of my garage manager. There are lots of new features going into this version, including a full tax disc history. For the first time in my software carear I have been asked to have cost information in "UK old money" (£sd). This has been done, so you will be able to enter any reayy old history in pre-decimal costs. A new "country file" will be created for each country, which specifies the rules for tax , mot etc, and onc you set you vehicles taxation class and emissions, it will automatically work out your tax band.
